Your role: Entry level Laboratory Technician position within our local Pigment Manufacturing facility. This individual will utilize a variety of test equipment to perform incoming, intermediate and final inspections on materials. Typical analysis includes but not limited to: pH, conductivity, particle size analysis, heavy metal content, color measurements. Visual acuity is critical to the role.
Who you are:
Education: Degree in Chemistry (preferred) or comparable work experience
Experience: 1+ years experience with laboratory equipment
- Capability of working independently and in groups
- High level of focus on details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and GMP manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must be able to work day shift with some weekend work on a rotating schedule.
- Color experience is a plus.
