Researcher, Processes for Renewables
You will join our Biotechnology Department that is part of Neste Research and Development unit. Processes for Renewables team's key tasks are related to processing of biofuels and other renewable products as well as developing raw material and pre-treatment knowhow for feedstock base expansion. As a member of our team you will fulfill a key position executing R&D projects for Neste insuring global growth in renewables.
Your main responsibilities are in research and development tasks related to developing and optimizing new processes for renewable and recycled materials. Your tasks will include planning and supervising projects and experiments followed by collecting, analyzing and reporting data obtained from laboratory and pilot scale.
Your responsibilities also include discovering, developing and managing new biomasses and oils for renewable and recycled applications. You will also actively participate in IPR creation and innovation work.
- Master's degree from relevant field, e.g. Agro-, Bio-, Chemical or Forest Technology
- Knowledge in fields of Biomasses, Process Engineering and/or Chemistry
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
- At least 3 years of work experience in R&D, Engineering or Business Development
- Hands-on attitude and perseverance at work
- Team player attitude.

The position will be located in Kilpilahti industrial area in Porvoo, which is located only some 30 minutes away from Helsinki city centre by car. We also arrange bus transportation for our employees from Helsinki, Porvoo and the surrounding areas.
